Pendulum - very fun and relaxing easy route suited for beginners

There is one possible ziplining section which is not mandatory and an overhanged bridge section. Both are available at your own choice. When we decided to build this route we kept in our mind that selecting the amount of fun, adrenaline, pleasure and effort is totally and exclusively yours to dose.

The Rattlesnake via ferrata route is a very easy trail (grade A or A+ if you choose the extended version with the Photographers' Bridge), the easiest in the area. It is the easiest option, mainly representing an exit in case someone cannot pass the pendulum, but it can also be an independent route (grade A). The route starts at the same place as Grota cu Hamace, turns right towards the Pendulum, and before the Pendulum, it goes 3 meters vertically on a chimney that ends after a serpentine at the start of the Indian Bridge (the suspended bridge from the route with the same name).

It can be continued from here either on the vertical intermediate exit and so it is very short (130m) and easy (grade A). There is also the option of continuing from here on the crossing from Podu Indian in the opposite direction and arriving at the first intermediate exit from Podu Indian at the start of Podul Fotografilor from the The Pendulum via ferrata route.

We traverse this bridge one person at a time, with the rest rope on the overhead cable (lifeline) and the via ferrata ropes on the side cables. We recomand you to have a longer rest roap so that it will slide smooth on the overhead cable (lifeline).

Then we have 3 more sections of cable on the steep forest trail that takes you out to the retreat trail. You can follow this path to the right and go down to the Unguru Mare Cave or turn left with a slight climb followed by a steep descent in places that takes you to the Gradia/Lavinia guesthouse.

In rainy and wet conditions, the first retreat option (to the right) is recommended.
