One decent wall in Vadu Crișului is suited for climbing even in wet conditions

More than 9 escalade routes with different grades from 4+ to 8+

It is a picturesque area, somewhat safer from railway traffic, with an almost permanent spring that flows into the Lake. The great advantage is that the wall never gets wet, the overhang above being a veritable umbrella. The downside is that the dust at the base is full of ticks. When we climb in the area we use a natural anti-lice solution.

The Julieta and Red Bull routes were the final and superfinal at Alpiniada in 1994. The superfinal was between Imi Sedevi and Kicsike and made it to the top. The rest of the routes (except Alfa and Omega) were bolted in 1985 at the SPAL-85 school, coordinated by the Niculae Baticu.

For the Alpha and Omega routes, we do not know the authors. They should have been redeveloped in line with the rest of the routes that were redeveloped for the first time in 2010, by Mândras Valentin and Moșoiu Razvan. The second redevelopment began in 2024 and was carried out by Moșoiu Răzvan & Cosmin Erdei. This also marked the creation of a new short and very easy route called 2secs (from how short it is - the route and something else).
In 2024 we also noticed that the 2 Alfa & Omega routes that did not belong to us were dismantled being replaced by a dry-tooling route because there was no route there - this is what we understood verbally and unofficially from the authors of the new route.

This wall is 20 m high to its left, near the ridge, dropping to 10 m to its right, near the Lake. All descents are done rappeling from the top.
